The course winds through Montreal's neighbourhoods and historic areas before leading to a grand finish inside the Olympic Stadium. In addition to the 42.2-km marathon, there is a 21-km half marathon, and 10-km, 5-km and 1-km races. During the three days leading up to race day, a marathon expo is held at Place Bonaventure.
