Join Meet Market Adventures and other adventurous singles, as we try our hand at skeet shooting. Skeet and trap shooting are recreational and competitive activities where participants attempt to break clay disks (pigeons) flung into the air by a mechanical trap at high speeds from a variety of angles meant to copy the flight of birds.
Our adventure will start at the top of the picturesque St-Lazare where we will learn about the safe handling of shotguns, range procedures and basic rules of skeet and trap, reloading ammunition, and shooting skeet. Then we will be able to put our hand-eye coordination to the test and attempt to successful break some of our own clay pigeons!
If you’re looking for a day outdoors trying something completely different, in the company of new-found friends, then this is one adventure you don’t want to miss!
Please note: To avoid downtown traffic, we will be leaving from the Metro De La Savane (there is a lot of free parking nearby) at 6:30 PM. We will also pick up members at the YMCA, Pointe-Claire, West Island around 7:00 PM. On the way back, we plan on being in West Island at 9:30 PM and back at Metro De La Savane at 10:00 PM.
Please let us know if you need a ride or can offer a ride to another member.
The price includes : All materials necessary for the adventure are included: guns, ammunition, reloading components, earplugs, targets, range, instruction, all taxes (GST, QST, etc) and of course, great fun and laughter with new friends !

Ahoy Matey and welcome aboard! Join Meet Market Adventures and other single sailors as we learn how to sail a 26-feet Tanzer. Come try out your sea legs, on this great yacht! Before we set sail, our captain will provide us with a brief introduction to the basics of sailing and the particulars for this yacht. We will work as a team to learn basic crewing skills such as navigation attending to the sails and helmsmanship. This hands-on experience will have you maneuvering around the ship in no time; you will learn the ways of working a sailing yacht like a true captain. After your sailing experience, you can then decide to kick back and enjoy being taken care of or continue to be apart of the Captain's crew. Sailing aboard this beautiful 26-foot yacht will make this a summer adventure to remember!
Please bring comfortable clothing, hat, non-marking shoes, snacks & sunscreen. Swimming suit is also welcomed as we will also have a chance to swim in the lake during the trip.
Price includes: bottled water, 4 hours on the yacht, instructions on how to use the yacht, hands-on practice (only if you like to try it), fun with new friends and all taxes.

Join us as Meet Market Adventures for a thrill-seeking, unforgettable experience at Arbraska Treetop Trekking in Rigaud, west of Hudson.
Three hours of obstacle courses in a magnificent forest, less than 1 hour from Montreal. Develop such skills as mastery of self, heights, confidence, balance, and concentration. Challenge your limits in complete safety, with orientation from trained guides. All levels available from beginner to advanced, and there is no time limit to complete each course.
Travel between the trees at the top of the forest with the help of rope bridges, ladders, zip lines, climbing nets, foot bridges, swings, giant steps, Tarzan cords, many more games and plenty of exhilarating laughter along the way !
Equipped with a harness and helmet, you will evolve through different levels of courses, which are adapted to one's age and strength in complete security. Your adventure will start with an obligatory initiation given by trained guides who will explain how to use your cords, carabineers and pulley, as well as how to follow the rules of safety. This equipment will be connected along your stroll to a cable ensuring your safety. Come out and enjoy a delightful afternoon escape with MMA. This trekking adventure includes the ultimate thrill of soaring down the giant zip lines !
We recommend that members have a healthy breakfast / lunch and bring snacks. We're going to have an excellent workout. Please keep in mind that this event can be done by an average person and if you feel too tired at any point, you can always step down, end the adventure, go for a nice walk in the beautiful natural surroundings of the Arbraska park.
What to wear and bring on this adventure:
- Dress for the weather as this is a rain or shine event (we will re-schedule the event if there is any danger to the safety of our members)
- Wear loose comfortable clothing, long pants, jeans or bermuda shorts, running shoes or hiking boots
- Please attach long hair and avoid wearing long earrings
- Bring water, gloves (they could also be purchased for $2 on site), sunscreen, insect repellent and your camera!
