This marks the festival of St. Jean de Baptiste, a very significant celebration of culture and identity throughout Québec. During the day there is a children's parade and a big Fête Nationale parade in the evening along Notre Dame Street. This is followed by an evening musical and fireworks show held in Bellerive and Maisonneuve Parks.
