Everyone is welcome to attend this book fair, which features more than 150 booksellers, magazine publishers, distributors and groups showcasing materials of an anarchist theme. Workshops, art exhibits and film screenings are also part of the event. Admission to the fair is free but donations are gratefully accepted. Childcare is available on site.

For a weekend in August, Old Montreal bustles with farmers, craftspeople, storytellers and musicians as it did in 1750. This unique, festive event comprises live entertainment, historical re-enactments, a native encampment, military regiment, children's activities and of course plenty of fresh produce and authentic 18th-century products like wild fruit jams, cider, cheese, sausage, buckwheat pancakes and spruce beer.
